1st Chopwell and 1st Blaydon jointing won this year’s Paisley Challenge competition. The adventure afternoon in Chopwell Woods had the Cubs taking part in 4 different challenges, working together as a team to earn points. Activities included soft archery, pirate navigation, knots and a pirate quiz. There was also time for some wide games.
The Paisley Challenge originally launched in 2018 in memory of Phil Paisley, a longstanding Cub leader in Blaydon & District. It was his idea for a Cub competition with the theme of pirates.
