On Tuesday 5th of April 2022, our first ever Squirrel Scouts in the District got fully invested.
Squirrels from 1st Winlaton, took there Squirrel Scout Promise. In front of their leaders, accompanied by our District Commissioner Colin Hurst.
As the Squirrels took there promise they were joined by representatives from all sections of the group to fully welcome them all into the Scouting family.
Each squirrel took there own promise, which they have been learning at home and took a mixture of the Humanist and Christian versions. They were also joined by there mums and dads in this special occasion.
After having been invested, the squirrels received their own neckerchief and a soft toy Squirrel. Which also had its own group neckerchief, the groups colours are the Royal Stewart Tartan.
