On Sunday, Members representing all 4 sections of 1st Winlaton Scout Group, took part in an event to celebrate the patron saint of Scouts, St George at Gibside National Trust.
The event included a parade along the main avenue and event inside the chapel. This included readings from the Scouts, a reenactment of the story of St George and renewal of promises.
This was followed by a group picnic and time to mix with all 4 sections with time in the park.
