In addition to our usual Beaver Lego Competition, this year we also ran our very first Cub Lego Competition. Both events proved very popular, with Colonies and Packs from across the district coming together for the annual event.
There were all sorts of creations during the day, from flying planes, to sci-fi themed buildings – the possibilities were endless! Although called a competition, there were no winners or prizes, the event is an opportunity for all members to come together, make new friends and have fun at the same time!
During the event there was also a chance to play games, eat plenty of sweets and eat a classic hot dog. Members had a chance to design their creation on paper before building with what seemed like the biggest collection of Lego ever! It was also a chance for members to work towards their Creative Challenge Badge.
Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs, Rebecca South said “It was fantastic to see how many Cubs attended from across the district. I hope to see them all and many more for our Watergate Walk next month.”
