Explorer Scouts wear a beige shirt or blouse with a Unit scarf in Blaydon District colours (dark red with a 1 inch gold border) and navy blue activity trousers or skirt with a Scout belt. They can wear an Explorer Belt and buckle if this has been awarded.

Explorer Scouts are expected to purchase their own uniform (from a local supplier) and the Unit will provide a scarf (neckerchief) at cost.
