Explorer Scouts play an active part in organising their own programme which can pretty much include just about anything you can imagine and which the Explorer Scouts and their Leaders are willing to organise. These include activities within the District Unit but also a wide range of activities with other Explorer Scout Units in the area.

Our current calendar of events can be accessed by following the ‘Explorer Unit Calendar’ link. Previous events have  included Scouting ‘classics’ such as camping, competive expeditions, bouldering, hiking and helping at the county camp site  but it’s not all as “back-to-basics” as you might think. We also include a range of sociable activities such as ice skating, barbecues, ten pin bowling and meals out, and we keep up to date between meetings using facebook - check out our photographs and videos in the gallery to get an idea of what we get up to.
