On Saturday 17th December 28 Beavers and adults from Blaydon District
travelled by coach to see the Pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at the Gala
Theatre, Durham. One Colony from our district even made time to walk up to
Durham Cathedral beforehand to eat some lunch. The theatre was packed out
and the atmosphere fantastic as lots of children and adults had fun singing,
cheering and even booing at the ‘baddies’. It was another great event for
the youngest section in Scouting to take part in, and a great way to get in
the mood for Christmas.
