Congratulations to 2nd Crawcrook Scout Group who won the 2011 competition.

Every year the Scouts section get a chance to take part in various scouting competitions. The Thundebird competition is the main competition which provides everyday adventure for one amazing weekend.

The competition normally takes place the first weekend in October kicking off at around 9am the on the Saturday morning. Through out the weekend Scouts will navigate the moors and take part in many different scouting activities. Scouts are then required to cook their own meal to a 5 star standard!
